Blessed

I am trying to upload photos from my phone onto my blog but I am not being very successful.  So I apologize.  My patience is gone right now so I will upload photos at a later date.

A little update on our lives!

I am 26 weeks pregnant and there is no hiding that I am pregnant.  Baby is growing!  And doing lots and lots of moving!!  We went to the doctor this past week all the weight I lost since my first appointment I have gained back.  I know I should be gaining weight but it hard for me to wrap my head around gaining so fast.  My blood pressure was a little higher than my normal rate but still within the range so that is reassuring.  I am having some bad headaches and back pains which the doctor recommended I go to a chiropractor which I have a couple times earlier in the pregnancy and it seemed to help.  Ever since Chad has gotten home he has gone to every appointment with me.  I am very thankful that we can go together and both ask questions.  I always found it annoying growing up and people telling me how much they loved my dad and so on.  Not going to lie it still is a little irritating when strangers do it or stop us in public.  BUT I have a new and complete understanding why they say this.  Being in the hospital for days at the beginning of my pregnancy for surgery and not having Chad with me, Dr. Glover was there a couple times a day to check on me and reassure that things were going to be ok.  Every appointment he really sits down and listens to how I am feeling.  He asks how everything is going with our house and Chad being home.  I honestly couldn't ask for a better doctor.  I feel very blessed to have him.  Chad likes him too which is good!!

Chad is approaching his last week of his temporary full-time job.  He is very ready to be done.  Apparently cleaning toilets and having to find things to do isn't much fun. : )  However we are very thankful for the financial help this brought.  Once again we are blessed!   Chad isn't sure where he will go to work once school starts but we will figure it out.  That isn't stressing me out since I did get a full-time job for the next year.

My job!  I will be an Early Childhood Special Education teacher at Gerald Elementary for this school year.  My students will have a variety of disabilities but I am up for the challenge!  I have been up to my room to organize and go through things.  There is still a lot to do though!  The school is closed the month of July so come August 1st I will be busy, busy, getting MY classroom ready.  I am very very excited.  I feel a little overwhelmed because there is no curriculum but I have resources who are helping me out.  Pray that I can get everything figured out.  Once again though we are blessed!

This is just a little update on our lives and where we are at...and we are BLESSED!
